TX650 wheels on XS650

I think I've read this on here before, but can't seem to find the thread. I have an 81 xs and saw some 73 hubs that I was thinking about purchasing to make some wire wheels.

From what I remember only 74 and on tx650 will fit, but I forget and can't find the thread. Can someone please enlighten me?

Yes, '74 on will work. If the front is '74-'76 and comes with the old style disc, you'll need to take that off and install your late style disc. The offsets are different so that old disc won't work with your new style caliper.

73 is a TX650 74 is a TXA650 might be splitting hairs but there was a big change all round,
The rotors for the 72Xs and 73TX were different than the 74TXA- 76C, I don't know if the 74-76 rotors will bolt onto the 73 hub. gggGary might know
