TX650A rims clear coated?

It's time to drag the wheels for my TX650A out of the garage attic and start cleaning them up. These are aluminum spoke rims. Are they clear coated, or just bare aluminum. If they're cleared I'll get some aircraft stripped before I even get started. Thanks.

I'm about 95% they are clear coated like every other alloy XS spoke rim.

The 1st year or so may not be. The TX750 wheels I got were not. They are also D.I.D. brand instead of the Takasago brand used on later models. You can tell usually just by looking at them. Try some aluminum polish like Mothers on them. If the rag turns black, they're not coated.
