Depends if you want them it working order and clean or if you want to do the dirty work. Just my opinion if they have been completely rebuilt cleaned and everything $200-$300 really isn’t bad, but they have to have replaced diaphragms, jets, t fitting, etc. otherwise you doing the work anywhere between $50-$100.

Thanks, this is what I was thinking as well. Iv been looking for a not rebuilt set, just for parts and maybe practice before rebuilding my own. But it seems like everyone wants $200+ for their old rusty carbs.
I'm generally a buyer at about $25 but have quite a few already and not "needy"

Just recently sent out some fine proven, 79 BS38'S to another member in need of carbs for a Hundred dollar bill plus $15.50 flat rate USPS.
That is what I personally value carbs at.

A good place to look is swap meets, once you REALLY know how to pick out a set of XS650 carbs, finding a set in a pile O "junk carbs" can yield a bargain.
