Used to be the only way I could hear the radio on my Road Glide was to wear ear plugs as they filtered out the white noise on the ride. For the past several years, ear plugs are absolutely essential to preserve what hearing I have left, to try to abate the evening tinnitis, to slow down the onset of fatigue and just have a more comfortable ride. Riding the FJ-09, ear plugs are mandatory.
