I'm a hard fit

39-40" chest 27" arms etc... Possibly a sm.-med long? I'm about 5' 11"-6.0' / 165 lbs.

Hi Tyler,

You are more normal than I am. I'm 6'1" and 155. I wear a 40 long sport jacket and have a 34" pants inseam. Buying gear sucks. It is either too large in the chest/shoulders or the arms are only slightly longer than my elbows. Medium Tall is our size but the smallest Tall size is a large. I do have three jackets, one old leather jacket is a 40 Tall and I do not wear it any more. Not really a great jacket by modern standards.

What you need to do is to try on a bunch of jackets. Be sure to stretch your arms out to make sure the cuffs cover your wrists. Motorcycle jackets have loooong arms for a reason. Tourmaster (I think) makes medium tall size and I tried on a 3/4 adventure style and it fit perfect. Unfortunetly, I was after the Rincon vintage waxed cotton replica style which they didn't make in medium tall (Damn!).
