voodoo vintage hardtail questions

Hey everyone
I'm considering getting the mk1 voodoo vintage hardtail section
I'm wondering what you guys have used for the wheel spacers
From what I was told by the owner it may need additional spacers
Anything else I should look for?

Start with a bunch of large washers in various thickness's. Also a good idea to have a lower end or engine in place with engine mounts installed, and a piece of 2x4 cut at 8 1/2 in plus a tick between the axle plates.. Happy welding......
