Had a few neat projects on a customer's bike this week. Among them was replacing a broken upper shock mount... I was setting up to drill out the mount for a new stud, and the scene seemed so ridiculous, I just had to grab a pic to share:
9 assorted clamps, 1/4" and 3/16" steel plates, a handful of shims, and enough mag-drill to pull the bike off the kickstand (notice the 2x4 propping up the bike)... That hole for the new stud is as straight and square as I can make it without putting the whole bike into the milling machine.
