Dad rode his softail, dropseat bobber to a local bike show last weekend. Someone noticed his bike and started talking. Told him he had one in the shed at home. "You want it?"
Not really looking for a project right now, but how much?
"No, I'm giving it to you....you want it?"

No title, but it runs. He had two 20 oz. Sundrop bottles tie wrapped to the frame since the gas tank is messed up (Kreem coming loose inside). Carbs are free, good compression, 99% complete. Oh, did I mention it was FREE!?

Thats bad ass.. some kat e-mailed me on Craigslist a week ago and said I have some xs650 stuff if you want it...if not ill scrap it. I made the hour drive out to his place and it was a full bike and extra motor with a lil motor stand. Gotta love free shit :)

The next item up for bid is a 1974 Yamaha XS 650, we'll start the bidding at, oh, let's see, how about free? Nice score, as I got mine for the same price. Mine had a problem, though, that cost me the price of 3 rotors(alternator) before I finally found the problem. Mine was neglected like your's too. Only mine sat outside 3 years uncovered. Ruined a perfect seat, oh well.
