what gauge of steel for seat pan and battery box

Im going to be building a custom seat pan and battery box, what gauge steel would you recommend? Thanks

I would say 14... but thats just a guess.. or maybe 16..

seat pan 11ga and battery box 14 or 16.

Is the seat pan for a cafe or brat seat? Or a solo seat? I would go thicker on the battery box and seat if it is a solo seat. Like 11ga if it is just rolled and not stamped.
