Get a left side caliper from Mikes/XS650Direct, add a set of Maxim 1100 discs and you're set. Plenty of power.

No, 4x 34 mm. But still bigger pistons than for example "blue spot" type caliper from R1/ R6 etc
And a boatload more unsprung weight.....
About 10 lbs is all, so close to 20 lbs total.
I'll consider that the next time through the Corkscrew.
I think it was Jim that pointed out two smaller "light" brakes are much better than one large brake cuz they don't introduce twist into the noodly stock fork legs under hard braking. His comment changed my opinion on XS handling foible causes after I rode one way too hard proving to some liter class riders that they weren't going to blow off an XS650 in the twisties.
