What rims are these??

On my 1979 xs650 I was told these rims are more desirable
The PO called them deep dish rims so I'm not sure of the exact name if there is one
I found two mounting points for a rear disc reservoir on the frame near the battery box
So I assume they swapped out the disc to use these rims/drum brake
Looks like the spokes have been powder coated also
Are these just the standard spoke wheels for 79's?

If they are 19 front 18 rear they could be from any standard 74-79 in the US.

Most commonly called a flange rim AKA mud catchers, rain catchers.

Yes, standard on the Standard model for many years. Check the brand name stamped into the rim. Very early examples could be D.I.D. rims. Later ones were Takasago.
