What shocks for visual impact brat kit

Looking for some advise from members that have experience with the Visual Impact Brat seat kit. Specifically I need to know what you have used for shocks that work. I know some use Honda Rebel's , HD sportster, etc. I don't want to buy three different pairs , you know the deal, there's no need to reinvent the wheel or in this case the shocks. Let me know what's best.

I would ask VI....running a rear fender? How heavy are you? I would guess 11-11.5 would be what your after, Honda rebels seems to be popular choice. My rear loop has been lowered and I'm running 11.5's. The VI kit sits lower than I went with mine just to give you a reference.

I will be running a rear fender and I weigh 180. What did your 11.5's come from ??

Got em from a member, I think they came from Mikes. There supposed to be stiffer which I wanted them to be.

I have 11.5 progressive 412 shocks on my bike with a VI kit.

And may I assume you are happy with them ??

Yup I like them. Just make sure whatever shock you get to have them setup with the correct springs.
