I want to run a straight line for my front brake caliper with no splitter like the stock line.

Are you guys just going to an auto parts store and buying a braided line and putting different ends on it? or what have you been doing?

I bought mine from a company out of california on Ebay. Sent them the specs and had it in a few days. I think it was around $45. I'll see if I can find it again

1. You will need 41" of hose.
2. Measure to be sure as it depends on your style of handle bars.
3. Use a piece of 1/4" rubber gas line hose to simulate the brake line.
4. Length is from the center of one banjo to the center of the other.
5. Measure with the front wheel jacked up off the ground to fully extend the forks.
6. Most of the banjos for SS lines are aluminum so be sure and use aluminum crush washers.
7. Find out from the vendor what the torque is for the banjo bolts. Typically < 20 ft/pounds (14 to 17)
8. Get extra crush washers in case you have to reinstall.
9. Never reuse the crush washers.
10. The other reason to use aluminum crush washers is because copper washers are typically a larger diameter and will not fit in the recess on the caliper. They may look OK, but you will have a very small insidious leak.

Awesome, thanks for all the help...I'll look into this more when im not at work!

I want to be riding!:)
