Which TCI for 82 heritage special?

Hey guys, I posted a wanted for a tci box for my 82 heritage special. Plenty of people have them, but it seems there are 2 kinds. 6 wire and 7 wire. My question is which one is my bike supposed to have? Also, im getting a plug and play harness from tcbros, they advertise one for 6 wire option and one for an 8 wire option. What the hell are they taking about with the 8? Id ask them but they aren't even calling it tci. They call it a cdi.

The seventh wire is grounded through the sidestand relay so it doesn't matter, either style will work fine. If you get that style just ground that wire, done. Although there are 7 wires it has an 8 wire plug with one unused.
