Anyone find any hidden secrets about sources for getting 2.75 or 3 inch X 18" rear aluminum rims with 36 spokes to mount up to an XS drum hub? I have one on a DID 3" and one on a Sun 2.75. I am looking for other options besides Buchanans $215 - $260 bare rims.
I found chrome steel, 40 spokes and a few others but non in aluminum that fit the bill.
Has anyone used the Mikes XS 2.50X18 48 spoke aluminum rim? I see they have a 36 spoke model coming this month.
