Will a Special swingarm fit a stadard frame?

I am looking at a non running 1980 Special for its wheels/swingarm and have a 1979 standard. Can I take the swing arm from the 80, with the requisite disc brake parts and just do a swap? Maybe weld a tab or two?

Yes. You will need to fab a mount for the master cylinder
