Wiring help

This morning everything worked perfectly, got the bike inspected, got it home and the turn signals and tail light dont work. headlight works fine and toggles between hi and low normally. checked all fuses and everything obvious to no avail. a jumper wire from the battery to the power leads of each signal light cause the lights to illuminate. What is my problem and what am i overlooking?

ALL the turn signals or the rears only?
A model year and if it is stock wiring might help. Do you have a wiring diagram or a manual? Page 60 of this manual gives lighting and signal test info. You're gonna need that meter.

turns out the last thing i checked and the only thing i ruled out without checking was the problem. the wires in the switch came loose from their terminals. a little solder and patience and im back in business
