XS1 Rotor in an '83 XS650?

I have an opportunity to pick up a rotor from an XS1. Will it fit and function in my '83 Heritage Special?

Rotor only swap? Nope. You need a rotor with the magnet.

So the XS1 rotor doesn't have a magnet...bummer. I thought I was going to get a good deal on a new/used rotor. Looks like I'll keep limping along until I send it to Hugh for rebuilding.
