XS650 and XS400 parts crossover - please confirm

Hi,

I have a 77 X650 and need the following parts for the rear brake:

Pedal, Pivot, Rod, Actuator arm

I have a chance to grab these from an 81 XS400 special with rear drum brakes.

Will these fit my bike?

According to the parts diagrams, no, all those parts are different.

if you go to the link below you can look up different yamaha bike models. click on a part number and it will reveal a cross reference to other bikes. i checked the pedal and it doesn't look like it was the same part as used on your 77.
