Xs650 rear brake hub size.

I am wanting to swap out my wheels on my 1981 xs650...I have a 16" mag on the rear now and I want to replace it with an 18" spoke wheel...both wheels have drum brakes..are the rear brake hub sizes the same on both?

If they're both 650 wheels then yes. The 650 used the same rear drum hub all along, with both the 18" and 16" rims.
