I just did a ring job and carb work on a bud's 650. I have johns needles in my bike, but for my bud's carbs, I (34's) put in canadian adj. needles with matching emulsion tube, 3rd notch from top, 140 MJ, 46 pilot, 2 1/2 turns out. starts easy, pulls great at all throttle positions. could be a tad rich, but the plugs are tan, runs great.
just an alternative if you cant find johns needles. Im having a machinist turn me a few pairs, but i wont have any tech support besides the instructions that came with my needls.
