Ps a periodic coat of Content Beeswax Lanolin Avocado oil Or other beeswax or lanolin wipe on leather care product really seems to help keep the vinyl supple. I pulled a 79 standard seat stashed in a horse feed bag from the SOIR that i had treated before bagging it (several) years ago...

You're too fancy for me! A 3/4" bolt and a couple nuts is all I used, drill some holes for the 3/4" bolt and to fit several stud 4? locations in a random chunk of heavy iron. (think C-channel) and bob's your uncle.

Carb cleaner then the propane torch. Bought a junker TX750 it came with about 20 fouled BP7ES plugs, the guy must of bought a case of them. All were hit with Carb Cleaner, torched put to use in XS650 motors with no issues. Yamaha issued an SB calling for BP7ES in all XS650 years and motors.

Just got done adding some ratchet anchor points to the van seat bases and some bike rack stiffening members. The rack has welded tabs on the bottom that slide under the seat mounting bars recessed in the floor. When the ratchet straps pull the bikes and rack forward it's all locked in place...

Late one night on the freeway tipping a honda CL77 over towards the single petcock nose of the bike up, got the engine started and made it five miles to a gas station.
