mid 40s sunday mid fifties through Friday! Took the land yacht out for 20 miles Sunday, managed to find about 3/4 mile of ice, slush covered road, real cheek clencher. 80 miles yesterday, even turned off the heated grips and seat. Pretty sure the 79 XS will come out today at least for a trip to town. Gotta watch sand/salt in the corners and snow melt is still running across the road here and there. Have to use the neighbors driveway ours still has a section of ice on it.

Calgary hit a new record for this time of the year. Yesterday it was 22 C or 71 F. Actually we were the warmest place in Canada.
Took the bike out for the first ride this year. Bike ran perfect.

Hey Tony It's been 40 years since I was in Bakersfield and as I recall It's as warm and flat as it is here. Not to much long sleeve wearing around here that's for sure.

Carbon what has happened is the population increase almost 400,000 the demographic have changed. With people comes pollution and blacktop decreasing farmland. But it has reduced the real bad fog.
