Don't Short Out Your Shorai

Well the title says it all. It gets pissed, smokes, puffs up and worst of all smells absolutely horrid.

Just don't do it.

That's a $200 mistake right there...

Mine split the case, leaked and let a lot of smoke out but no fire. Thankfully I had tools with me, I had visions of my bike going up in flames but I'd rather get a few burns. As far as I know it just shifted and shorted the + terminal directly to the frame, I don't believe any other electronics were damaged. We'll see when I pick a new battery up tonight...
