Am I missing a part from my shift fork fork guide? Pics

In the process of rebuilding my motor. I took apart the shift forks and set all the pieces aside. I was reviewing the fiche to order some other replacement parts and noticed that I maybe missing a piece off the shift fork guide that wasn't there when I took it off. It's listed as a "Blind Plug" on the fiche. Is it really missing or is it a part of the engine case and don't need to worry about it. It's #18 on the fiche.

that plug has been pressed into the side of the upper case. i'll post a pic in a bit.

but in a nutshell it's either pressed into the case or not there on the later engines.
