Ok, so wiring up my first Boyer ignition.. Pretty basic

5 wires:
Black/ white and black/ yellow go to the plate the reads off the cam.
White is Ground.
Red is Positive and that is connected to the kill switch wire.
Black is to Ign. Coil.... ?

The coil has 2 terminals - positive is connected to the kill switch and ground.

Does the black wire on the Boyer connect to the "Ground" terminal on the coil and then they are both grounded thru the White wire.???

Please help, trying to fire this bike up this weekend. Thanks.

Hi,
Yes you're right. The black wire from the unit goes to the -ve connection on the coil. The +ve connection on the coil goes to the ignition switch to (same as the red wire from the Boyer unit.
Here's a link to Boyers site with the fitting instructions and a wiring diagram that will help you out. http://www.boyerbransden.com/pdf/KIT00303__BOX00210_.pdf

I have fitted a lot of Boyers over the years and they are good unit s :)
