How to get the advance rod bushings out of the cam.

I have a points set up I don't need and want to get the advance rod bushings out of the cam, I have the rod and all the other parts off, what's the best way to remove the bushings so they will be in good shape? There should be three right? What should I do with these parts? wink.

An internal bearing puller ....

I think there are 4 bearings, 2 per side. The outer on each end has the internal grooves to hold grease, the inner one is just a plain bushing.

In the book they call the grooved one a labyrinth seal. The other a bushing. Two of each.
Me, I'd leave them there and get new ones for it when you use it again.
