I ordered some stainless steel fenders and mounted the rear. The front Im still not sure how to mount.. high or low... Im leaning towards high mount...
On a swapmeet I found a cheap Sportster seat that I thought could be OK for my build.. Its not perfectly but it better than I expected. Made to small brackets to hold the seat down.
Lasper,
Looking nice! I've been wanting to build something similar for years, never seem to have the time. Solo seat w/ luggage rack looks sharp. Love those SS fenders. Are they a re-pop / generic type? Where did you source them?
The fenders are from an internet shop that sells parts for Royal Enfields. A friend in here used them and I got the same. The homepage is http://www.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/home
Yes!! First startup after rebuild and ex500 carbs. What a feeling! It started on fifth kick
The new mufflers are loud!! So will need to pack them a bit.
I tried to post a video but didn't work
One question: I have used pamco for a long time with the e-advance.
Now I got the new bushing that holds the cam and advance-shaft together. But it seems like the marks but line up. Is that supposed to be like that?
