XS with Windjammer!

I'd say that it would look a lot like my bike with the Torque Commuter clone shown in Post #2. I recall having to relocate my turn signals and did all the wiring myself - but I think that the fairing body was pretty much like your Esprit 1.

Your a good man Scott ! I am sure it will find a good home !
I always wondered what the mounting hardware looked like ! LOL

Ride your bike over here Bob, one trip to the hardware store and we'll have it mounted. If it gets too late we'll put you up for the night. The lightning bugs/fire flies are out, that's worth the trip.

Going to look at a set of hard bags and rack from an early BMW tonight, have a couple of "full plexy fairings" in the rafters, might be the next XS project. But it takes a lot of motor to push big fairings. story; I had a short bagger-shield on the Royal Star Venture luxo-barge, changed back to the big tall stock windshield, took a 3mpg hit. from 43 down to 40MPG This was seen over many fill ups before and after the change. Cannon balling home on a recent out west trip at a steady 80 MPH+ mileage dipped to about 30 MPG again over 5 or 6 tanks of fuel, I think you can fairly well equate MPG with the horsepower being used.

That's cool - I like that '79 and the Quicksilver on the red Special!

Heck I really like the chrome side covers and the low slung seat !!!! that is really COOL !!!! good looking bike !
...... I've been thinking of doctoring my seat..... done that to almost every bike I've owned to get the darn seat height lower
that was one of the first things I did to the Honda 305 and it's bench seat LOL
cutting the foam is no problem with a long bread knife, but getting that seat cover back on is a bitch !
