Bump........No shipping box necessary, just remove the stays, wrap up the fender with cling wrap, place the stays inside the fender, wrap the stays to the fender, ready for a shipping label.
Thanks for the link Beags64. That would be a 260 mile round trip for me. Seems that the seller wouldn't be much help in identifying the right fender. Could be a wasted trip, too bad he's not closer. I'm thinking about it.
Heads up. 73 is a stand alone one year guard. The braces are shorter on the 73TX compared to the XS2 front guard...................i'm sure the guard is the same for the 72/73 and the braces/stays would interchange, it's just the braces/stays that are a different length
