probably broke down. Just call me greasy.
Good morning y’all. I don’t use facebook, but I do have an Instagram account and found Mailman on there. We got to chatting and he suggested I start a thread. This will be for good old fashioned fish stories, memories, and personal best photos! Here in NYS the lake run rainbow trout are up in the streams spawning, so here’s a few pictures.
Stalking these giants in 4 foot wide, inches-deep brush lined tributaries is a truly memorable experience, reminiscent of sloshing along creeks with a stick, hook, and worms as a child.
I also do a ton of stream/river kayak fly fishing here on the Susquehanna for smallmouth bass and it’s feeder streams, most notably Catatonk creek. Here’s last season’s top 3!
I went up to Pulaski for the first time last year to hit the tail end of the king salmon and coho salmon spawning run, and had a blast. We stayed way up in the hills and tributaries of salmon river to avoid the crowds and it payed off with some monster fish
Once the spring rainbow trout run is over we spend a good amount of time bank fishing the Susquehanna for channel cats
we also do a ton of trout fishing up here, here’s a quick couple of small creek browns from the last couple of seasons
This ought to get the ball rolling! Calling all anglers, let’s see those fish and hear those epic tails! Tales? Nope, tails.
