...hoping to rescue street bike tomorrow...parts got helicopter'd in...

...well, one area of weapage, tomorrow get some sealant, then fairing back on...
...but after adjusting valves first split second starter motor turned over bike started!!!
...guess what, runs soooo sweet too on my test rides in neighborhood...
...wow...i thought 1100 was smooth and powerful before...
...every valve was tight, very far off (not closing completely)...
...got lots of tools, but missing never returned compression tester stuff...
...but doh...compression test a year ago would have saved lots time...
...edit next morning...11°f, brrrrr...ooommm , bike start instantaneously, wooohooo...

I'd of never known if the bike would start or not. It's in the low 40's and 99% humidity and I'm not going outside. 11, Forget it.

What are you aiming for with those shims? I aim for .005", but .004" or .006" is OK.

I went with .007 on exhaust, .005 on intake
