Yes and no... Your original wiring can be used to activate a relay... brown is power to the relay coil and whatever other color's left is ground when the button is pushed. That gets you to a working relay, then you'll need to tap off the battery (fused) for power to pass through the relay (contacts) to the new horn. How do you wire in a relay ? Yes, I'm still looking. The best horns are the BMW's from the 80's. Italian if I remember correctly. I can look at the k100 if your still looking.
Thanks. I'll check it out. There is a pair with different tones. They are louder than crap and don't sound like the roadrunner.

I originally wired the SG like the diagram 5twins put up. As soon as I tried it, it blew the 10A fuse. I went back and looked at the literature that came with my horns and the two were pulling about 12A. So I ran a separate wire from the battery with a 15A fuse to pin 30 and ran the original brown wire to pin 86.Yes, dual Fiams, quite nice, and loud. That's what came on my Moto Guzzi, sounds like a car, lol.
Here's another relay pic I ran across, a bit more pertinent to our application I think because it shows the horn switch (button) activating the ground (as ours does) .....
..... and "doctored" for our needs .....
I've lost count of the times my horn has interrupted some idiot... mid text.I have not a memory of a horn warding off a potential vehicle collide incident.
Wolo bad boy air horn on my Roadstar. You would need a separate relay to power from battery like you mention above. It's mounted below the passenger footpeg on my bike. It's real loud and gets everyones attention.
