And on another 80SG tooThese are also going in an 80 SG....
My God, I don’t know why I didn’t switch to a Motion Pro clutch cable sooner.
Had the old style MikesXS one on for years and thought I just had a stiff clutch (as I had previously installed heavy duty Barnett springs). No mater how I much lubed or how the cable was routed, the pull never improved.
I actually seriously thought I was starting to get arthritis in my hand, due to the pain I was experiencing after rides - so much so that I was seriously contemplating a hydraulic clutch conversion.
Installed the Motion Pro last week before the my annual motorcycle camping weekend and it was night and day. Round trip was just under 800km (split between two riding days). My hand was pain free the entire time. I highly, recommend switching if anyone is considering.
Also interestedI’d be interested if you decide to make more. I’ve bought a few of your other aluminum bits over the years and your quality has been top shelf!!!
Did an Oopsie?Fornacated it
In 2010, the same thing happened to me on the Blue Ridge Parkway, far from home. The lock failed to retain the bolt. I had recently swapped the rear wheel, so it was probably my fault. One of the bolts that hold the rear sprocket to the wheel had come loose and was hitting the swing arm !!!
Taller Bars for Me!
Also interested.Yeah made from a couple leftover aluminum scraps. These are a bit oversized but might be up to making a few sets if there's not a big rush. Spare time is almost as hard to find as that "spare money" people speak of
Made this jig to hold a rotor in my mill/drill to spin the rotor as I resurface it. Then drilled the rotor (what a pain). Now prepped for paint.
