I've had three Buelll X1s but that just proves that some of us never learn. They tend to suffer from niggling faults. There a bit different somehow - modern chassis, unique ergonomics, old fashioned push-rod engine. Good looking in an ugly way? More torque than you need, faster than you need. Kind of an answer in search of a question.

Seriously? What’s this guy been smoking?

1971 CB450 $1500, Nothing on this bike works……nothing. Fenders have been chopped off, gas tank caved in on both sides, exhaust chopped off. But hey! It has a new set of knobbies on it! Kids!

Forks and swing arm look promising. The rest not so much.
Just noticed it`s Italian. Might be like my Allante only with 2 wheels:yikes:

That reminds me of when Honda (great engineering) joined forces with Alfa Romeo (great design) to produce a car of the 80's with style and reliability.
Sadly someone cocked up the meeting minutes and it ended up as an ugly hideous pig with disastrous reliability!

I lusted for the early Bimotas. If you remember, they gorgeous rolling chassis that you added your motor and electrics to.
On the recent series of The Motorbike Show - it was the tenth anniversary series - Henry Cole restored a Bimota.

Said he had been lusting after a Bimota ever since he first saw one in a shop window when he was at school. Then one came up for sale and he took his friend Sam Lovegrove with him to see the feller selling it. Sam's the expert on the techie side, plus being the sensible second pair of eyes. Of course, the Bimota was not fully original, not fully complete. Sam was still giving the bike a look over but Henry says to the man, 'How much are you asking?' Feller names his price, Henry sticks out has hand and they shake.

Sam's face was a picture. But, but . . . Henry says, 'These don't exactly come up for sale very often, it's what I wanted, had to have it.'
