When I put the bike into 1st gear. Then let the clutch out, and give it gas. It lurches,surges and jumps when I take off. Some say it is a bent shift fork. Others say clutch trouble HELP?

How do you check for a bent shift fork? Do you measure the space between the gears?

Hi Barry Toy. If I spit my cases to work on the trans. Can I replace the ft cam chain guild? If I loosen the tensioner and pull the guild out from the bottom?
