XS Leo, are you are far too quick on the draw for me! :) My response was directed at 5twins who had mentioned various electrical issues. That being said, how would electrical issues be affected by the RPMs?

The syncs should be good and I've swapped the plugs already. It is possible that plug caps are faulty. Any ideas why the RPMs would affect any of this?

I have a 1981 XS650 and I'd like to get the older "flat" style seat. I've seen it mentioned that some have done it with a few modifications to the seat. Anything more detailed out there or other options?

Well I just know length is pretty important to get your compression right so I'm just wondering how long the pipes should extend I guess? Do you have pics of yours, JR Hammer?
