    New project.

Just started my chopper project. Actually all I have is the motor but I guess you have to start somewhere. I gave it a good degreasing and started to soda blast the fins. You can see the small area I did in the photo. Slow going but it works. My blaster is home made from this site...

    Engine Mockup

Finally starting to piece together my chopper project. Little by little I might add. I have the motor (1979). I don't think it needs any internal work at least yet, but one never knows. I'd like to build a test stand and get it fired up. I'm not too bad mechanically but I must confess ignition /...

Poll: To hardtail an xs650 or not to?

I can tell you one thing, a hardtail is nothing compared to my 54" zero turn twice a week over 5 acres.

    Frame work.

That's a bummer. I really wanted him to do a frame for me the same as the other he built. Well, maybe I'll contact G&L and see what they can do for me. I'm open though.

    Cleaning the motor

Funny you should bring that up, I was just sitting here surfing soda blasting info. Don't know much about it yet but it seems like it may be perfect for cleaning an assembled motor. It bet it would work great on the cylinder fins and the case. No worries about damaging the internals I suspect if...

    Cleaning the motor

Guys, Is there a good way or I should say product(s) to clean a motor without tearing it down? The side covers will be buffed out but I'm more interested in the best way to clean the case, head, fins, etc. The motor is on a stand. D.

    Frame work.

Could be TC rear end. Here's the shop that built it. http://www.wiseguyscustoms.com/Cory_s_Bobber_Chassis.html I'm starting with a stock 1978 frame. I live in Spring Hill, TN near Nashville.

    Frame work.

Greetings all, first post here. Got my motor and frame coming in a few weeks so I need to get started on the frame once it arrives. Nothing I can do myself so I'm looking for someone to do the chop. It's gonna have 4" stretch, 2" stretch to the backbone, 36 deg rake. I'm looking at Wise...
