all you need is the rotor flywheel and adapter plate from the banshee. You need a 3 phase stator from something else (Ninja, etc..) check out Hugh's post in the tech section. He has several compatible ones listed there. Don't get beat on the flywheel. I got mine for $60 on eBay. I got a NEW...
How is the engine running now? When I bought mine, it was running fine, just wouldn't charge. Have you checked the rotor to see if it is charging? If all that is ok, then you are in good shape. You are probably gonna want to simplify your wiring, and I see you wanna keep all the electrics simple...
I didn't think that that pin should be able to come out if you have the retaining nut tightened all the way down. It's not falling all the way through is it? if so, new bushings would help. After looking at mine, I can not figure out how yours is falling out:umm:
I don't guess I have ever seen one break THERE before. and as far as pin, are you talking about the E-clip that holds the weights on? if so, you can get those from Lowe's in the hardware dept.
