Looking at getting new tires for my brat and need some input on choices. The bike is a 78 with mag wheels. Reason being is I had a rear blow out yesterday at 60, the tires that i currently have are 4 year old bridgestone trail wings. Needless to say both are being replaced after this incident...

I do have the mechanical atu, it is a repop that came with the pamco kit. The advance rod was liberally greased with moly grease when i installed it. I did check it for movement a couple weeks ago and it open and snaps back fine.

That's what I thought... thing is the bike will clear 2500 rpm and hit 5 k smooth as well as do 70 easy. So I'm guessing my timing light is lying.
