What I am looking for is from the center of the front axle to the bottom of the head tube. I need to shorten a springer. Remember, I need this measurement at ride height... if you are hardtailed with a 16" rear that is even better. A pic of the bike you are measuring would be great too.... man I...

Agreed.... simple. I used the 1" bearing myself and dropped a Denvers springer up front

Cable isn't in but you can see the control none the less.....
