wow thank you! :) i figured itll be somewhere between 9 and 10, since the eagle emblem thing it had, is 9". guess ill have to figure out what to do with 6.5 inches (or 3.25 on each side) picked up a dyna harley seat for cheap, maybe itll fit? or itll look stupid? :shrug:

hey all, got a seat, and since i dont have a bike near me i was wondering if anyone could help me out. What is the width of the frame? where the seat is bolted to/ or placed in. wondering if the seat is too wide or not :( i really hope its just perfect. thank you in advance guys :bike:

oh and another thing guys, why do i have this have no idea where it could come off from. any ideas?

Leo tnx, but for some reason the one that i have doesnt really look alike with the other 78 xs650e. thats how it looked when i got it. is it a 78 xs650e? and i am not saying that you are wrong, im just unsure to what year it really is :( oh and it did had black covers on it (no emblems whatsoever)

kinda a noob question, what does the amp does? with the ford solenoid it got higher amp then the xs650, is it good? :shrug:

what about lighting relay? or safety relay? i took mine off(as was shown in the diagram) any modern moduls i can use instead? do i have to?
