Just have two toggles on mine... one for battery on and one for ignition on and when I leave it I just take out a fuse and stick in my pocket. works!!

Thats what I was looking for... Makes sense to reuse some of the bits off these bikes for new parts....ebay is fine but the shipping's a killer for me. I will cut them down and tack them with my mig and finish weld them with something with a bit more penetration. Im trying to get this cafe...

Has anyone made a set of clipons from the lower clamps off the tree and some 7/8ths tubing? If so , I would like to see pics or find out if it will even work... Thanks:bike:

Hey, I've got a couple of these in the garage....gone to pamco on the chop and the cafe is a 79 w points......I have no friggin use for em. They are from an 80 special, one dropped a valve and was scrapped by PO and the other had a bum pickup and thats gone pamco. can get pics if you want em...

FYI.... they have a 36 tooth rear sprocket as well....real shitty on the highway but good for pulling stumps and the odd car out of the snowbank...i spose?? Anyways, do yourself a favor and get a 34 tooth at least or even smaller.

Yep.. I have 2 650 specials out here in Newfoundland... both have 36t sprockets....Friggin useless... I have a 34t on now and its getting better but I think I might be going with the 32t afterall.

Yup!! I got a couple here in Newfoundland. Chrome might be pitted a bit but solid nonetheless. Lemme know..:)
