Thanks man. It is a quarantine project and now runs great(after a couple bogus mikes xs ignition systems.) it’s super fun in the canyons. I like the look too but I really am digging the brats I see here. Maybe I need another bike.😁

Please hook a rider up so his seat no longer flops around. My 1977 xs650 needs the lower latch mechanism for its seat.

When I have the front end of the bike elevated there is no play at all. And it rotates smoothly. I don't think it is the steering bearings. I think you guys are right about the tires. I feel much better if all the miles on a set of tires are mine anyway. Time to part with more cash.

Yeah, the jet ski reference, could've chosen a better analogy. What I meant was the whole bike felt like it was floating side to side. Not good. I will check out All Balls. Thanks guys

I was looking at some rear shocks. What do you ride?

I lifted the front end and tried to wiggle the tire. I didn't have movement. Ill try to get it spinning with my drill.

The whole thing felt like a jet ski before I switched the swing arm bearings/bushings. It did let up but I need new tires anyway. these came with the bike when I bought it in January. No idea what/if the kind of miles are on them. Suggestion on tires for this bike? Maybe new tires will...
