Ok, thank you. That is what I was thinking, I just couldn't tell from pictures and I must've gotten bent from the "new" parts, but I didn't want to go bending in case it was just me being dumb and not understanding haha.

I wanted to stick as close to stock as possible, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or if this needs to be modified? Or if the flanges are on the wrong posts, maybe? I tried searching through pictures and nothing shows up close to the mounting position to get an accurate look at...

Another question, how did you guys do your lights? I can't find a switch that will allow me to turn the lights on and off and between high beam and low beam. Did you just wire the low beam to the off position and the high beams to on? Cause that's the only thing I can think of

So I am wiring up the bike using this diagram: http://www.amckayltd.com/simplifiedwiring.jpg Except my reg/rec has an extra dreen wire. I read that it is a ground wire but all that would mean is there is two negative wires? Can someone help? It's model number SH232-12

Ok so I have 81 with open Uni air filters, a pamco ignition with a capacitor and I live in tucson which is 2400' above sea level. Looking for a ball park idea for carb and pamco setting so I won't fry the bike(or break my leg) when I first try to start it up. Please and thank you.

Thank you, I didn't realize that was the same part as mine is so broken and then when I went to the dealer they gave me the wrong part number. It hassince been added to my cart on mikesxs

You know what? That's the wrong part number, I have the stabilizer bar, its the rod the connects the foot pedal to the drum. The one that actually does the braking. I will have to go back now and see what they say.

So the part I need, the one that goes between the foot pedal and drum actuating lever is a discontinued product. PN 2M1-25371-00-00 What is the best way to remedy this and keep the stock look?
