Hi everyone, new to the site.... I have a 1975 xs650, i was woundering if i can add pod filters to the bike without rejetting? anyone have any experience with this. thank you.....

You can start with the odd and see what happens. I did the same thing and ended stepping my mains up one size on my '83 Heritage Special. It was leaning out at 4,500 RPM so the larger jet helped. I could have gone up another size but I'm satisfied for the time being.

One thing that you'll need to take into account is your elevation.

Simple answer NO
look in the tech section under carbs, this topic has been covered more than any other & no 2 bikes are the same
Read HERE,HERE& HERE, then read it again. find out what jets you are running now & take a guess as to what jets you think you are going to need, buy them & also buy a size smaller & a size bigger, maybe 2 sizes. Then its time to play :D
Oh and don't buy the cheap pods, they only cause you problems K&N or the foam filters work well

its really elevation dependant. I run pods on mine, but stock new xs1 exhaust and i have no bad flat spots, bike runs real good actually. might shim the needles ever so slightly, but very little.
