Photography Thread

Incredible that so few Lancasters remain, given so many were produced.

We only have one in flying condition in the UK although I've heard there may be a second one flying again soon. After the war there were loads but nobody had any use for them so most were broken up, I did hear a while ago though that a large number of gun turrets were discovered being used on a farm as mini greenhouses!!!

Thoes pics are great Guys keep em comming!

I have learned that cloudy days are the best for shooting aircraft pics and video.

I'm trying. Late shotgun season is open here and the woods are not calm right now. I am going out today to the ocean and Trap Pond to get some pics. Maybe, but am not sure, going to Assateague Island to photograph the ponies. Hopefully I'll get some good wild life pics. I want some to frame.

That flower is really cool looking!!!!!

The hummingbird is cool too. My grandmother could just put her hand out and they would land on it in her garden. I think there was a trick though.

We have a few hummingbirds when my honeysuckle vines are blooming. Really cool to watch. The Dallas Arboretum (SP?) has hordes of them in the flower gardens. Great place to shoot some beautiful pics, but when the flora is at it's finest, it's so crowded that most anything but tight shots is out of the question. Beautiful still.

Hey Carbon, i have an unrelated question. Im sending you a PM. Sorry to mention it here, i just have a hard time getting pm replies unless i do this first.
