Do you like high pipes?

I don't know if mine are especially high or not, but I've ridden my bike for 3 years now and I've never once burned myself on them. Only one time when it was around 95 degrees did I even feel the heat from them.
Of course, I can't check my oil with them installed but hey :)
 
high pipes are for winners. i've been running mine from gordonscott and there's no heat issue. i wear vans and boots and i'm fine with both. but i do only ride in jeans....
 
Dan @ Pandemonium just built these for my 650. Love the way they look & sound.

I lived about 4 miles from the Peoria TT track back then and was probably at that
race. My dad was more into car racing but we rarely missed an event there. I think the sound of these bikes sold me on motorcycles for life.

I love the look of high pipes, guess thats why I gravitate to scrambler style bikes. Gotta remember to get hold of Scott and order some for the XS.Kev.

The sound is a deep rumble at idle through 3000 revs then it gets nasty. A quick wrap on the throttle and it gets everyone's attention.

hi i would like high pipes if i was building a tracker.... i lov the v&h style pipes made by our member... i would think they are super cool ...regards oldbiker
 
I have high pipes on my tracker. They look good but before I get it going again I will make a set of low pipes for it. Burnt my leg once to often.
