Rubbed down with 320 dry paper & then epoxy primed. Rubbed down primer & that took nearly a whole day. Block sanded primer as good as I could.
First layer is 2 coats of a grainy silver, 10 minutes later 2nd layer of what looks like blood but is a tinted clear & the 3 coats of clear with 15 minute intervals.
Not sure of the gun but it has the pot above the trigger part.
First time he painted with this paint & was advised not to attempt the job due to the difficulty of getting the base coats to look even. He's a plumber but has painted different stuff like boats, road-race sidecars & quite a few bikes.
I'll fit it onto the bike & after 3-4 weeks wet sand down to 2000 grit & give it a good polish.
