    Doea the base gasket need trimmed?

    Does this new base gasket need trimmed where I have marked it with a Sharpie? It seems odd that the gasket would span over the cam chain tensioner screws since the gasket is unsupported underneath the cylinders. Please let me know your thoughts. Jon
